This week, we recognize and celebrate Nurse Appreciation Week and the incredible care provided by McKenzie School District Health Services Coordinator and school nurse, Liz Muzzey, to our students, staff, and community.
In a rural school district, the role of a school nurse extends far beyond the health room. Liz supports student wellness, responds to emergencies, helps lead important health and safety efforts across the district, and serves as a trusted resource for students, staff, and families every day.
We are especially grateful for her recent work supporting CPR and emergency response efforts throughout our schools, helping ensure staff are prepared and students remain safe.
